Media Filters

Multi Media filters or "sand filters" are a way of filtering the water in your swimming pool through sand, zeolite or glass. Media filters can take a larger pressure then cartridge filters and allow far more functionality due to the Multi Port Valve (MPV) located on the tank. A standard filter should give you between five and ten years of use before having to do a media change depending on the use and environment of the swimming pool.
